We played a wedding for an amazing couple in Edmonton over the summer and in attendance were some political figures which included the current chief of Enoch Cree Nation along with 2 past chiefs. We always do our best on stage but sometimes people aren’t around to hear what kind of magic we come up with so I like to send out sample CDs with a smile and a handshake. I gave my current single “Small Town” to Harry Sharphead and it somehow found it’s way into the ears of a manager at River Cree Casino. One thing lead to another and without hesitation I received a phone call and an email that I would be opening for Tanya Tucker on Nov 7th and if it wasn’t for that small interaction we wouldn’t be on our way to meet such a huge icon in country music.
