This event is a showcase of Contemporary Indigenous Art from all across Western Treaty Six Territory. It is a celebration of Indigenous Artists working in the mediums of visual art, spoken-word, performance art, and music. The Collective is also collaborating with IHuman Youth Society and the Indigenous Artists Market Collective to bring Edmonton-based artists and vendors to the event. While the spoken-word, theatre, and visual art portion of the event are completely free, the music festival is a paid event. The music festival will be held in the North Field at the Energy Centre, this is an outdoor event so please dress for the weather. The music and entertainment will be from 3:30 to 11:00 pm. So come out and dance!!! The proceeds from the ticket sales will be used to pay each Artist who is a part of the event and will be used to bring the Festival back for another year.
